Greer, SC · Baseball & Throwing Athletes
Dr. Mathew Clark, PT, DPT
Baseball & Throwing Athletes
A pitcher, before he was a doctor.
Mathew received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. His interest in physical therapy first took shape while he was earning a degree in Health Science at Clemson University, where he also played four seasons on the baseball team as a left-handed pitcher.
Before his freshman season at Clemson, Mat underwent Tommy John surgery, a UCL reconstruction, the same procedure many of the throwing athletes he now treats have gone through themselves.
Baseball & throwing athletes.
After playing baseball his whole life, Mat is passionate about treating baseball players as a physical therapist. Having gone through his own Tommy John reconstruction and return to the mound, he understands firsthand why working with a PT who understands baseball actually matters. His areas of expertise also include treating golfers and CrossFit athletes.
