A runner’s coach who became a doctor.

Christina graduated with a degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University, where she served as captain of the cross country and track teams. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine, and while there worked as a head high school cross country coach and distance track coach at a local high school.

During that same stretch, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, training she took on specifically to sharpen how she treats athletes and improves their performance, not just their pain.

Orthopedic & running rehab.

Dr. Schultz is the doctor many patients end up seeing first, and often the one they ask for by name after. As a former collegiate runner and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, she treats running injuries the way a coach would, weighing gait and training load alongside whatever joint happens to be loud that week. Patients chasing a marathon time or just their next pain-free mile tend to end up on her schedule.

03 Outside the clinic 03 / 05

Off the clock.

Christina moved from Jacksonville, FL to Greer, SC with her dog, Rosie, to help keep this community active. She still runs in her spare time, and spends the rest of it exploring the city and hiking.
