Get to know Dr. Clark
From pitcher’s mound to patient care
Dr. Clark’s journey to physical therapy began on the baseball field. As a left-handed pitcher for Clemson University’s baseball team, he developed a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on athletes. He also understands the importance of working with a physical therapist who understands baseball firsthand, having undergone Tommy John surgery (UCL reconstruction) prior to his freshman year at Clemson.
That experience ignited his passion for sports medicine and rehabilitation, leading him to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Academic excellence
After completing his undergraduate degree in Health Science at Clemson University, Dr. Clark went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. That academic background, combined with his athletic experience, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of human movement and rehabilitation techniques.
