Physical Therapist
Lori Barrios graduated from Duke University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. She began her career with a small PT clinic working with all ages and abilities including providing physical therapy for children in the school system. Lori then worked at Camp Lejeune with the Marines Special Operation Command working directly with the active duty Marines in their Performance and Resiliency program. Her career then led her to an outpatient clinic of a large hospital system where she treated a wide variety of clients ranging from patients recovering from recent surgery to patients with long term chronic pain and mobility problems.
Lori has additional training in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Graston technique, Postural Restoration, and is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.
Lori and her husband Louis have two wonderful daughters. In her free time she enjoys rowing, hiking and weightlifting to stay active. She has competed in Division 1 Collegiate Rowing and Masters Rowing as well as USAW weightlifting events.
Lori has a passion for providing quality care and educating patients so they have a better control on their own recovery, overall health, and wellness. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to live a pain-free active lifestyle.
