Patient Testimonials

  • I am 70 years old and have been running for 40 years. I have had numerous injuries and have seen a number of physical therapists. I have never had anyone who’s been so compassionate and kind. His goal is to get me well and running again, but without putting me through pain, He is not a physical terrorist but a true physical therapist. He is the best, so if you’re having pain and want relief and the chance to return to your desired activities, go to Scott Kaylor at Zoan PT.

  • I’m a retired business executive and an avid golfer and scuba diver. I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis, and in recent months have experienced severe back pains. The pains were severe enough that I have had to leave the golf course mid-round, to significantly reduce the number of rounds I play, and had even led me to question if – or how much longer – I’d be able to play at all. Three rounds of Epidural Steroid Injections had done little to improve the situation. Working with Scott at Zoan Physical Therapy, my back pains have improved tremendously over a fairly brief period and have allowed me to return to my 3-times-per-week golf routine. Zoan/Scott have helped give me back not only my golf hobby, but the camaraderie with my friends and the social connections for my wife and I that come along with my golf and country club involvement.

  • After 6+ years in competitive gymnastics, my daughter had to have arthroscopic knee surgery earlier this year. Follow-up treatment was a “generic” physical therapy program, from which she was released after only a few weeks, without a long-term plan in place.

Unfortunately, as she began to return to more intense physical activity, she began having other issues with her ankles and shins – all an extension of what had happened with her knee. Fortunately, we were referred to Scott at Zoan Physical Therapy for evaluation. Both my daughter and I have been very pleased with Scott’s approach. He is extremely knowledgable and his approach is treating my daughter’s overall health and well-being in a much more individualized way, with long term goals in mind. I feel like he is much more cutting-edge in his methods and philosophies. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in healing, or just improving, their overall physical performance.

  • I am a triathlete and I came to see Scott Kaylor, PT, DPT for pain and soreness in my left knee. The strengthening exercises for my hips, quads, and glutes has made all the difference! I am now able to do lunges without pain. Scott is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend him! Thank you Scott!

  • My son is a high school cross country runner who was struggling with breathing during races to the point of dizziness and nearly passing out. Scott measured his lung capacity, assessed his movement ability, and prescribed exercises targeted to his issues. Since working with Scott, his breathing during races has improved and he has not had the issue. Scott also gave him some exercises to improve his running for next year.

  • Scott Kaylor, PT, DPT, SCS at Zoan Physical Therapy is the best. My 16 year-old son is a varsity baseball player who was experiencing elbow pain with throwing. Through an individualized plan, he is now throwing pain-free. My son now has interest in possibly pursuing physical therapy because of the results he got with Scott. Don’t mess around with pain and mobility issues call him today!

  • I have been living with chronic back pain for a very long time. It seemed like no one knew what was wrong or how to fix it. After a long journey and nearly at a point of giving up, I was prescribed PT yet again. I had already been through PT with zero results. Instead of dismissing it, I decided to give it one more try. Very thankful that I did. Scott was able to figure out the issue, explain it to me, and now we are working to resolve it. This is the first time I have ever felt relief from my symptoms. The more I do the things he teaches the better I feel. Thanks so much! Highly recommended!

  • I had a great experience with Scott at Zoan Physical Therapy. I am a mom of 3 and moving from being a casual runner to running more miles and pushing further and harder. I was struggling with the pain while running and went to see Scott to get me back on track. He immediately saw the problem and worked to strengthen me and get me back to running pain-free. He also helped me to set some running goals and gave me some skills and exercises to keep me strong and injury-free while training. I’m glad to say that I’m pain-free and training for my first half marathon, thanks to Scott and my time at Zoan.

  • Scott is excellent!! My 15 y.o baseball player son, Connor, was having elbow pain for the first time in his baseball career. We were referred to Scott by a friend. Scott thoroughly assessed/evaluated him and developed a treatment plan. Within 3 weeks Connor was pain-free and ready to start a throwing plan and should be stronger than ever for high school winter workouts and spring season. I am very familiar with the healthcare system. By going directly to Zoan and skipping the doctor’s appointments, MRI’s, and physician referrals we saved months and probably thousands of dollars in treatment delays and money in getting Connor back to speed. Thanks, Scott!

  • Scott is exceptional! He is very patient and attentive. He works with the person – not the symptoms. I would highly recommend Scott if you are an athlete or someone living with chronic pain.

  • Scott is amazing. I’ve been dealing with issues off and on for a few years when I do and train for triathlons. I went to Scott, described exactly what was happening and he figured it out. He gave me targeted exercises and two months later I ran a pain-free triathlon and finished 3rd in my age group. Look no further than Scott.
